Kyle Kerley

I'm Kyle Kerley, owner of KLK Code LLC

Are you looking for an honest, dependable, trustworthy front end developer with excellent communication and time management skills for your next web development project? If so, you’ve come to the right place.

I’m located in beautiful Denver, CO and bring over a decade of experience in web development, email marketing, and client services to the table. I’ve worked for large, global agencies, smaller regional agencies, as well as one-on-one with clients, and I’ve been an independent contractor and freelancer since July 2017.

I believe in building clean, solid sites with excellent usability and accessibility. I believe in keeping up with the development trends, but only using them when they make sense. I believe in adding features/functionality/technologies that solve problems–not just for the sake of having it.

Expertise offered

As a full-stack developer and having worked at many agencies of varying sizes, I’ve had experience with a wide array of development-related projects. I don’t shy away from new challenges, but instead embrace them and learn on the fly. I’m always improving upon and expanding my skill set; I’m always pushing myself to be better than yesterday.

Career experience

I’m a friendly, outgoing, motivated self-starter who prefers to dive headfirst into new projects and I’m as capable on my own as I am in larger team settings. I adapt quickly to meet my clients’ needs so I can provide the best service possible!

I’ve worked on teams as large as 27 people for a single client down to being the sole point of contact for all account management, development, and quality assurance for 13 separate clients simultaneously.

Working for numerous large companies and agencies in both Milwaukee, WI and Denver, CO has given me client management and development experience from many unique perspectives.

Building and maintaining client relationships

From managing client communications, to doing full site rebuilds, to creating marketing email streams and strategies, no project or client is too big or too small! I have experience working with global juggernauts as well as small mom-and-pop shops and would be happy to work with your organization regardless of size!

Relationships wither and die when communication is lacking. That’s why I take communication very seriously. Expect thorough, timely, and substantive updates along with questions for clarification to ensure I’m doing everything exactly as you want it throughout the entire time we work together.

The logos below showcase some of the more notable clients I’ve worked on/with in some capacity over the years. Please note that their display does not imply or assume any endorsement of Kyle Kerley or KLK Code LLC. They are for historical and illustrative purposes only.

Fun fact: If you received emails from Bassmaster, Blockbuster,, DirecTV, eBay, GMACI,, HP, NAPA Auto Parts, Royal Caribbean, Samsung, Sport Chalet, TGI Friday’s, US Auto Parts, or Wendy’s from 2010-2014, there’s a very good chance I built, QA’d, and sent it.

Past project successes

Pushing boundaries and finding creative new ways to enhance and expand user experience is something I strive for. I truly believe that websites need to be fluid and flexible—not only in terms of how they behave at various resolutions, but also during the design and development process.

Websites and their owners must be adaptable and open to changes that might not be part of the approved design or original vision but make the most sense for great user experience.

Final cost

My prices may seem high but I charge less than half the amount even the cheapest agency I've worked for charges for building websites. I came to these prices and rates after careful consideration of my experiences working for more than 7 years at numerous agencies. The quoted amounts reflect the level of effort required to produce a quality product. I may be more expensive than other freelancers but the quality of my work speaks for itself.
